The SAFETY Scholarship Committee has developed equity-based criteria for the distribution of awards. Only participants who are presenting at the conference (oral/poster/workshop) are eligible for any type of award. The following types of scholarships will be awarded:
The Scholarship Committee aims to provide awards to the maximum number of participants using an equity principle. Partial scholarships might be awarded more frequently, and participants are advised to seek funding support from other sources. Applications should be made here. We will seek confirmation from those selected for partial scholarships about their ability to fund the remaining cost before making an award. We will use an intersectional criterion to make awards. Participants will be scored based on the following criteria:
